This Privacy Policy describes how Valley of the Sun Medical Dispensary (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”), the sponsor and administrator of the Frosted Treasure Hunts promotion (the “Game”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit our site or play the Game. The Game is intended solely for individuals who are 21 years of age or older. If you are under 21, do not use the site or provide any information to us.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information you provide to register and play: your name, email address, and mobile phone number, and your account password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form).
• Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive marketing communications, and the date and text of the consent you gave.
• Gameplay & location data — when you use the map and augmented-reality features, your device shares your approximate location with your permission so the Game can guide you toward a search area. Location is used to run the Game and is not published on any public surface.
• Prize & redemption records — the vouchers you win, their status, and the in-person redemption record (including that a valid 21+ ID was verified). For prizes that require it, we may collect tax information (for example, an IRS Form W-9).
• Winners-feed display choices — the display name or anonymity setting you select for the public winners feed.
• Usage, device & analytics data — collected automatically as you use the site, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and interactions, through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
• Communications — messages you send us through the chat widget, contact forms, or email.

We use your information to:

• Operate the Game — create and secure your account, run the map and gameplay, issue and validate prize vouchers, and enforce the rules (including one-account-per-person and one-win-per-week limits).
• Verify eligibility — confirm you are 21+ at entry and support the in-person 21+ ID check required before any prize is released.
• Communicate with you about your account, wins, vouchers, and support requests (these service messages are not marketing).
• Send marketing communications, only if you opt in — about the Game, new drops, and related offers (see “Marketing communications”).
• Improve and secure the site — analytics, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting and applicable Arizona regulatory requirements.

We send marketing texts and emails only with your consent. By opting in, you provide prior express written consent to receive automated marketing calls and text messages and/or marketing emails from or on behalf of the Company at the number and email you provide. Consent is not a condition of entry, of playing, or of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to any marketing text message, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or update your preferences in your account. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages needed to run your account and the Game. Consistent with Arizona law, marketing directed to you uses a method to confirm you are 21 or older before that communication and identifies the Company.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your 21+ age-gate pass on your device, understand how the site is used, and improve it. This includes Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and processes usage data on our behalf; we also store a random visitor identifier in your browser to measure site performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out signals. We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to run the Game and as described here. We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who operate the platform on our behalf — for example, hosting and database, email and messaging delivery, analytics, and customer-support tools — under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing those services.
• Our staff, to the extent needed to verify and fulfill a prize in person.
• Legal and safety recipients — when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our players, or others, or to comply with Arizona regulatory requirements.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

On the public winners feed, we show only the display name or anonymity setting you choose — never your email, phone, exact location, or full identity.

You can:

• Access and export the personal information associated with your account.
• Correct your account details, or delete your account and associated personal information, from your account settings.
• Opt out of marketing at any time (reply STOP, use an email unsubscribe link, or update preferences).
• Manage your winners-feed display name or go anonymous.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing). To exercise any right, use your account settings or contact us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity and may retain certain information as required by law.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to run the Game, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, regulatory, accounting, and legitimate-business obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The site and the Game are strictly for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and we take steps to prevent under-21 access, including an age gate and an in-person 21+ ID check at redemption. If we learn we have collected information from a person under 21, we will delete it. This service is not directed to children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
